White House: Minnesota Mosque Bombing a Hate Crime Faked by the Left

By now most Americans are well aware that anytime there is a terror attack involving a person, or persons, of Middle Eastern heritage, Trump’s fast fingers unleash a rash of deliberate anti-Muslim rage to incite his hateful devotees. However, when Muslims or people of color are the targets, tiny hands puts those fast fingers in his pocket and pretends nothing happened. Over the past seven months Trump has been extraordinarily silent, and his little fingers at repose, every time there is a hate crime or terror attack committed against Muslims or people of color.

Yesterday, the White House took a different approach and blamed liberals for “faking” the bombing of a Minnesota mosque. As many pundits and commentaries have taken to saying since Trump’s election, “you just can’t make this sh*t up.” The idea of liberals faking hate crimes and terror attacks against Muslim Americans is beyond the pale, even for a hate-mongering imbecile like Trump.

According to Trump’s national security advisor, Sebastian Gorka, the official White House reason for Trump’s silence on the hate crime against a Muslim place of worship is because it’s “probably a hate crime faked by a liberal.”

Unlike every other time Trump tweets out anti-Muslim rhetoric minutes after a terror attack or hate crime suspected of being driven by Islamic extremists, the Trump wants to wait until the investigation into the “incident” is finalized. He claims all of the hate crimes targeting Muslims and people of color are propaganda and faked by the left.

Gorka lied like his boss and claimed that Trump operates on the assumption that until authorities know for sure exactly who the perpetrators are, any reports are fake; including the news that there was a bombing of a Minnesota mosque. With a straight face Gorka said:

“There’s a great rule: All initial reports are false. You have to check them and find out who the perpetrators are. We’ve had a series of crimes committed, alleged hate crimes by right wing individuals in the last six months that turned out to be propagated by the left. Let’s allow the local authorities to provide their assessment and then the White House will make its comments.”

Naturally, Gorka failed to cite an instance of an “alleged hate crime committed by a right wing individual” that was fabricated by the left, but that is part and parcel of the Trump administration’s modus operandi; just say ridiculously absurd bullsh*t and expect the public to buy it as gospel. What is certain, is that Trump has been uncharacteristically silent every time a right wing extremist commits a hate crime; including when there are multiple witnesses, arrests, and boastful confessions that attacking Muslims is “patriotic” because it’s Trump’s America now.

Gorka’s lie that the White House always waits until “local authorities” weigh in with their assessments is easily debunked on myriad counts, but none as blatant as last June. Trump jumped in and commented on an alleged terror attack in the Philippines without any information whatsoever; not from local authorities or his national security personnel. Trump condemned what “he claimed” was a terrorist attack; “It is really very sad as to what’s going on throughout the world with terror.”

However, local authorities, victims, witnesses, and video footage said the incident was committed “by a tall white foreign man” who botched a casino robbery and started a fire; it was not a terror attack and no victims were killed by gunfire. Trump was quick to cry ‘terrorism’ in a botched robbery in a foreign country, but he couldn’t even condemn a terror-hate crime attack in the United States because it targeted a Muslim place of worship.

Even Minnesota’s governor called the attack what it is, an act of terror. And, as has been pointed out by no small number of journalists and pundits, authorities can and should always condemn hate crimes or terror attacks no matter who the targets are and despite the perpetrators are yet unknown. As an MSNBC host said to national security advisor Gorka a day after the Minnesota mosque bombing:

“You don’t have to make a statement about who did it, but you can make a statement denouncing how terrible it is to attack a building of worship.”

Gorka’s response was, “That’s fine and I’m sure the president will do that.” However four days later and not only has Trump not condemned the terror attack on a place of worship, his official comment is that it is a hate crime faked by a liberal. There is almost certainly a more despicable reason for Trump’s silence besides blaming liberals for faking a terror attack and it involves inciting Trump’s supporters inclined to take matters into their hands and “make America white and Christian” to aid Trump keep his vile campaign promise.

A spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called on Trump to condemn the terror attack on innocent worshippers even though no-one was injured. Ibrahim Hooper noted the obvious:

Silence on the part of public officials at the national level only serves to empower Islamophobes.”

The director of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, Asad Zaman, expressed the sentiments of most decent Americans.

We are wondering why President Trump has not tweeted about this. He seems to want to tweet about security and terror issues.”

Mr. Zaman is not telling the whole story; likely to avoid being attacked by Trump or his supporters. Trump only wants to tweet about security and terror issues if he can malign and demonize Muslims, otherwise, tiny-hands remains silent; except when it presents an opportunity to blame liberals.

Trump has had ample opportunities to condemn hate crimes and acts of terrorism committed by right wing extremists and white nationalists, but they are his base of support. What is patently obvious at this juncture is that among his most rabid acolytes, his silence is regarded exactly as it is meant; tacit approval straight from the White House.

This latest ploy of blaming liberals is, although despicable at best, not surprising. What is glaringly apparent is that Trump is never going to blame right wing extremists because not only are they targeting innocent American Muslims, they are doing Trump’s dirty work to make America white and Christian – the real meaning of his favorite twitter hashtag MAGA because it appeals to his white evangelical base.

Republican Coward Says Reporter Is Dangerous As A Terrorist

Any American over the age of 17 or 18 has experienced cowards, particularly Internet cowards, who incite hate and violence against a person or specific demographic under cover of social media. These plagues-on-society revel in inciting outrage against individuals or groups and like the bully-punks they are, if they are exposed they cry foul like every seventh-grade bully that gets called out and challenged on the playground.

Although there was no shortage of anti-Islam rhetoric and incitement to violence throughout the Obama Administration, the campaign and election of corrupt bully Trump made anti-Muslim speech and increasing violence against Muslims a national pastime for America’s hater class. However, as is usually the case, when a Republican’s anti-Muslim rhetoric is exposed they generally disavow their comments as a lies or misconstrued. Unless you’re an Arkansas Republican state legislator and evangelical malcontent; then you accuse a journalist of being as scary and dangerous as a terrorist with a bomb.

The target of this article is a Koch-funded evangelical freak and as pusillanimous a Republican as any American will ever hear about. This chickenshit’s name is Jason Rapert and he is an Arkansas bible-thumper serving in the state’s senate. Rapert has made a name for himself as a “Koch-backed anti-women’s rights evangelical” Republican; a name that screams hate.  It is highly likely that Rapert hates women’s rights as ardently as he loathes followers of Islam. And, he hates Americans who believe Muslim-Americans are entitled to Constitutional equal rights as much as he hates women’s rights and Muslims. He is just a typical evangelical Republican dripping with hate.

A reporter for the Arkansas Times, Max Brantley, was assailed by Rapert this week claiming the reporter was “careless” in pointing out that the Arkansas Republican regularly posts videos on Facebook calling for violence against Muslims.

The Inquisitr reported that in a continuing trend, Rapert “shared” a video from Fox News complaining about a school designating a prayer room for Muslim students. However, Rapert didn’t just “share” the video; he added some typically religious Republican commentary reminding his acolytes why they should hate Muslims. He wrote:

It should be highlighted and understood why they are encouraging Islam which is a cult of death and violence against all non-Muslims. America in distress.”

Of course after being identified as a Republican inciting violence against Muslims in other video postings, the coward Rapert said that when he posts videos calling for violence against Muslims it’s not “touting or promoting” violence against Muslims, “it’s simply sharing” the idea of violence against Muslims

Rapert the scaredy-cat was so terrified over Brantley’s report exposing him as a hate-monger that he wrote to the reporter:

You persist in being careless. You played fast and loose with the truth. So now the national support group for all things Islamic has put a target on me as a result of YOUR messaging. I hold you personally responsible if ANY threats come against me and my family as a result of this. You are as dangerous with your pen as a terrorist with a weapon.”

Mr. Brantley noted that he is not the first journalist reporting that Republican Rapert is a hate-monger calling for anyone even supporting equal rights for Muslims to be incarcerated; likely without being charged or given a trial even though there is no law against supporting equal rights for Muslims, at least not yet. This is Trump’s America after all.

Brantley cited a piece in The Inquisitr that exposed Rapert’s “incitement to violence” against all Muslims he claimed belonged to “a cult of death and violence against all non-Muslims.” As an aside, in religious right parlance non-Muslim is code for “poor persecuted evangelical fundamentalists.” Rapert came up with a familiar evangelical solution to the religious right’s “Muslim” issue that was “reported” by a different journalist working for the Inquisitr who reported Rapert called for “rounding up all Muslims and anyone sympathetic to their equal rights regardless who is responsible for terror attacks.”

One can’t help but wonder if Rapert objects to being held “personally responsible” for the real violence being committed against innocent Muslim Americans as a result of his “support” for, and incitement of, violence against Muslims. And it is worth noting that since dirty Don’s election victory and sparsely-attended inauguration, there has been a gigantic increase in violence against Muslims and the American people who support them.

Of course no civilized human being wants any American to suffer threats to themselves or their families, and that is particularly true of the Muslims who are increasingly being targeted for discrimination and violence. However, the idea that the Arkansas bible-thumper is frightened that he will be the recipient of “threats” due to a journalist reporting the truth about his very un-Christian hate is brilliant.

Sadly, though, Rapert is so full of “evangelical hate” for Muslims as is he is women’s rights, he pledged to Brantley that he will never stop “targeting” Muslims for violence. In fact he wrote to Mr. Brantley “vowing that he is ‘forever resolved’ to keep posting [anti-Muslim] videos on Facebook despite his feelings that his family is imperiled.”

If that were true and he wasn’t an evangelical Republican coward, he would not have cried and complained to a reporter that he is as dangerous as a terrorist with a weapon; he would have proceeded with the courage of his purely hateful conviction.
